You need to install the iOS (Apple iPhone) or Android Applications on your mobile devices to use all the full features of KumoTeam
This section will help you with the various installation scenarios
Note 
a Your user ID & password will come to you in an email from your company Admin
To Reset your password you can open www.kumoteam.com in your browser & click on “Lost password”

To use the Web Admin panel goto www.KumoTeam.com
 

Apple iPhone (iOS)

If you use an apple device (iPhone / iPad) use these instructions to start using the KumoTeam iOS client.


First Time Install

1.     Open the App Store on your device
2.     Search for “KumoTeam”
3.     Open the app & click INSTALL
4.     You’re DONE !

Upgrades

We release new features periodically & Apple will normally notify you of any available upgrades.
1.     Open the App store on your device
2.     Click on Updates
3.     Incase KumoTeam shows an available update , install it
4.     You’re DONE !

Troubleshooting / Important Tips

·      The new version doesn’t work right – Try the following
o   Tap & Press the KumoTeam Icon on your phone
o   It will start to Wiggle with a cross on the top left
o   Click the cross & delete the app
o   Open the App Store on your device
o   Search for “KumoTeam”
o   Open the app & click INSTALL
This should solve your problem
 
·      Login doesn’t work or Login is stuck
o   On the first login the app downloads a fair amount of data from the server , jobs , settings , invoices , customers etc. So depending on your network speed this may take upto 5 minutes
o   If the app gets stuck , click on the home button and relaunch the app after waiting for 90 seconds
o   This problem normally ONLY occurs on the first login
 

Android / Google Play

First Time Install

5.     Open Google Play on your device
6.     Search for “KumoTeam”
7.     Open the app & click INSTALL
8.     You’re DONE !

o   Click Uninstall
o   Complete the uninstall process to remove the app 
o   Open Google Play on your device
o   Search for “KumoTeam”
o   Open the app & click INSTALL

Installing Custom APK / Emailed / Downloaded Apps

 
Most times you will download the Android client directly from Google play. In some cases your company admin or support will want you to install an APK file on your Android phone.
 
Email
Incase you have been sent an Application file in an Email message
o   Settings à Applications à Unkown Sources (Check on)
o   Accept the warning (OUR APP IS TESTED & STABILIZED & WILL NOT HARM YOUR DEVICE – THAT IS A GUARENTEE )
o   Open the email / gmail application on your phone
o   Open the email that contains the application as an attachment
o   Click “Install”
o   You’re Done  
 

Downloaded Application

o   Settings à Applications à Unkown Sources (Check on)
o   Accept the warning (OUR APP IS TESTED & STABILIZED & WILL NOT HARM YOUR DEVICE – THAT IS A GUARENTEE )
o   Open your browser on the Phone and goto www.KumoTeam.com
o   You will see an Android Market Icon to the bottom right
o   Click the Icon to download the latest application to your downloads folder
o   Goto FileBrowser in your applications
o   Goto the Downloads folder
o   Find the KumoTeam APK
o   Click it and accept to install
o   You’re Done
